Terms of Service

1. Who we are

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Veris Labs ("we", "us", "our"), the operator of the verislabs.io website, the Veris Labs dashboard, and the Veris Labs API. Veris Labs is operated by a natural person conducting unregistered business activity (działalność nierejestrowana) under Polish law; the operator's full identification details are provided on request.

2. What the service does

Veris Labs provides a request-based API that generates sensor-data payloads used to interact with third-party websites' bot-protection systems. Access is sold as pay-as-you-go or request packages.

3. Accounts

  1. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your country, to use the service.
  2. You are responsible for keeping your password, API keys, and account secure. Anything done with your API keys is your responsibility.
  3. You must provide accurate information when signing up.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to the following:

  1. Intended purpose. You may use the service only for security testing, research, quality assurance, and monitoring of websites and systems that you own or are explicitly authorized to test or access.
  2. Lawful use only. You may use the service only for purposes that are legal in your country and in the countries where you operate.
  3. Authorized access only. You must have the right or authorization to access the third-party websites you target, and you must comply with those websites' terms of service and with all applicable law, including computer-misuse and data-protection laws.
  4. No harmful activity. You may not use the service for fraud, credential theft, spam, scraping data you have no right to access, or any activity that harms third parties or their systems.
  5. No abuse of our service. You may not attack, probe, or attempt to bypass the security or limits of the Veris Labs service itself, share or resell your API keys or account access, or use the service to build a competing product.
  6. Verification. We make every effort to verify our users and how they use the service. We may ask you to describe or document your use case at any time - before or after purchase - and may decline or limit access if we are not satisfied with the answers.
  7. Enforcement. We may refuse service to anyone, and we may suspend or terminate your account if we believe you are violating these rules. Before restoring access, we may require you to complete identity verification (KYC).

You are solely responsible for how you use the payloads. If a third party claims against us because of your unlawful use, you will cover the resulting costs and damages, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

5. Payments and pricing

  1. The service is prepaid. You top up your balance with pay-as-you-go credits or buy a request package, and requests are charged against that balance as you make them.
  2. Payments are made in cryptocurrency and processed by Zenobank. We never see or store your card or wallet details. You are responsible for sending the correct amount to the address and network shown in the invoice - cryptocurrency payments sent to a wrong address or network cannot be recovered or refunded.
  3. An invoice with a payment link is created for each purchase. A credit or package is only added to your account after the payment is confirmed.

6. Refunds

All sales are final. Prepaid credits and request packages are non-refundable, and cryptocurrency payments are irreversible. This does not limit any refund rights you have under mandatory law - if the law requires a refund, we will provide one.

7. Right of withdrawal (consumers)

If you buy as a consumer in the EU, you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract. Our service is digital content delivered immediately - by purchasing, you expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you thereby lose your 14-day right of withdrawal (Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU).

8. Suspension and termination

  1. You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. Unused prepaid balances are not refunded (see Section 6), except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
  2. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if we are required to by law, or to protect the service, ourselves, or third parties. If your account is suspended or terminated for a violation of these Terms, any unused prepaid balance is forfeited and will not be refunded, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
  3. Where reasonable, we will tell you why your account was suspended and give you a chance to respond, including through identity verification where relevant.

9. Availability and liability

  1. We work hard to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Third-party bot-protection systems change frequently, and coverage may break or change without notice.
  2. The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, express or implied.
  3. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost data.
  4. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for wilful misconduct, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, and disputes will be handled by the courts of Poland.

If you are a consumer residing in the EU, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence, and you may also bring claims before the courts of that country.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always at verislabs.io/terms, with the date it was last updated. If we make a significant change, we will notify you by email or on Discord at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after the change means you accept the updated Terms.
